On this year’s International Car Digital Design Contest
Both the amateur and professional car designers are set to collide in the upcoming International Digital Car Design Contest and are needed to toughen up to meet the meticulous taste of the panel spearheaded by Nissan’s senior vice president and head of design Shiro Nakamura.
According to Car Design News, this event is one of the best avenues for brilliant car designers across the globe to showcase their ingenious creativity in coming up with unique but feasible car design.
“Entries are expected from some of the best car designers and best car design students around the world,” said Car Design News.
Helping Nakamura of Nissan in judging the various creations are vice president for design Ralph Gilles of Chrysler and executive vice president for design of Ford Europe.
Starting on the 16th of January, the contest will already be open for interested participants and will run until the 26th of March. A winner will be chosen for two categories, which are for designers and students, and will take home the thousand dollars-worth Autodesk DesignStudio commercial software license, $2000, and a one year Car Design News membership.
