Vintage car enthusiasts took seriously the challenge of customizing these rides for the Fillmore Auto Show and Flea Market held at the Fillmore Glen State Park over the weekend.

This annual event has made the vintage car owners all boxed up in their garages for endless tinkering and customizing of these old but still superb looking automobiles.

Duke Whitt’s 1968 Charger was one of the looker in the Moravia auto show. Whitt got his hands all soiled up as he painted the vintage car black with gold-sparkled clear coat on top. The inner part of the Charger, on the other hand, had upholstered seats and newly-installed pristine white carpet.

“Everybody wants to know why I put in white carpet. Nobody’s going to ride it in. It’s my baby,” said Whitt.

About 400 cars pre-registered in the event, but 100 of these had to go out because there was no more room left for these cars to park.
