DUB Custom Auto Show 2007: Part 3 (Memphis)
Pimped up cars, fully-amped trucks, and celebrity performers rocked Memphis as the 2007 DUB Custom Auto Show & Concert series invaded the city during its 3rd stop last May 6.
Car culture was well represented in Memphis with hundreds of customized sport compacts, luxury, exotic, 4x4, and SUVs were on display. Just like in LA and Phoenix, highlights included Alpine’s $1 million Imprint Mercedes RLS and the new line-up of DUB Edition customs such as the Dodge Nitro and Caliber, Chrysler Aspen, Chevy Tahoe, Buick Lucerne, and the hot new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited on 30-inch TIS:M wheels. Amp’d Mobile’s DUB customized Kawasaki Quad on 26" Dropstars was also on hand.
Memphis is known for it’s music heritage, and the DUB show contributed with it’s all star hip hop show featuring Jim Jones, Lil Scrappy, Young Buck, and Lil Flip! All of the concert performers as well as special guests including Will Castro from Unique Whips fame were available throughout the day for autographs at the sponsor displays.
